It’s been a busy week here in my home state of Michigan. On Monday, I wrote some notes about governing, politics, and policy ahead of what looked to be a divisive primary. '
And over the weekend, I sat down for an interview with Jacob Soboroff on Jacob Soboroff on MSNOW alongside Puck reporter Abby Livingson, to talk about what was at stake in that primary.
We covered the ferocious battle over issues and ideology going on right now in Democratic politics, and Jacob managed to get a question to me about schools in Michigan and beyond.
The primary’s over, and Abdul El-Sayed is moving on to the general. The conversation still stands.
Take a look if you have a few minutes. We’ll be back with some more education news on Monday.
